Now that January is in full swing it seems as though Mother Nature has determined our mild Wisconsin winter should come to an end. Temperatures in the teens on Sunday produced steam fog, a beautiful yet chilly sight along the shores of Geneva Lake. After a brisk walk along the lakefront, some of our staff headed to the Watershed Saloon on Delavan Lake for their first annual chili cook-off. There were 11 different recipes to sample Sunday afternoon and the first place winner took home $200. On Monday our staff welcomed former U.S. Sen. Russ Feingold to our Williams Bay office. Feingold, in the midst of his Senate re-election campaign, wanted to learn more about Nei-Turner Media Group as a result of our recent recognition as one of the “Best Places to Work” by Outside magazine.
