What’s Happening At The Lake …

During the first full weekend in November there certainly wasn’t a shortage of things to do in the lakes area. We’re a little partial to one event that was held last Saturday. At The Lake magazine was proud to host the sixth annual Lake Geneva Beer & Spirits Festival at Grand Geneva Resort. Over 1,000 beer aficionados turned out to enjoy an afternoon of tasting not only beer, but distilled spirits along with food pairings. After the music ended and the party wrapped up, many festival-goers headed off to partake in Dine Around the Lakes, Walworth County’s second annual restaurant week, which ends this Saturday. On Sunday, Lake Geneva’s Studio Winery was the place to be for their Cork & Canvas event, where artists of all skill levels learned to paint a piece of artwork while sipping a glass of wine.
