What’s Happening At The Lake …

After the Chicago Cubs won the World Series, fans in the Midwest had plenty to celebrate and many carried the party right into the 7th annual Beer & Spirits Festival on Saturday. A crowd of 1,000+ attendees, some in newly purchased World Series attire, brought a lot of energy to the fun-filled afternoon at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa. On hand were 35 Midwest craft brewery representatives, who offered beer tastings that ranged from pale ales to oatmeal stouts. Plus attendees enjoyed distilled spirits, hard ciders and a variety of food samples. The always popular photo booth was busy all afternoon and the dance floor was packed, especially when the DJ played the official Chicago Cubs victory song, Go Cubs Go! Check back for details regarding next year’s festival and don’t miss our Craft Blues & Chicago Blues festival next April.
