Well, it’s that time of year again. Thanksgiving week is here and that means feasting, football games, family reunions and a long, four-day weekend. It also means it’s the official kick-off to the Christmas holiday season. Some will leave their Thanksgiving celebrations on Thursday to prepare for Black Friday shopping. Others will plot their strategies for finding just the right Christmas tree. For many families spending an afternoon at a Christmas tree farm in search of just the right pine, spruce or balsam is a tradition they look forward to every year. If you love going on the hunt for your Christmas tree, you’ll want to visit Countryside Trees near Walworth, especially this weekend when “newfies” from the Upper Midwest Newfoundland Club will be ready to pull your tree to your car. You won’t want to miss these gentle giants – some of Santa’s best helpers!
