It’s a magical time of the year, especially as the holidays draw closer. One of our favorite things to do is to take a ride on the East Troy Electric Railroad as it makes its way to Santa’s workshop. The train departs from the East Troy Depot and heads north on its 10-mile journey to the Elegant Farmer, where Santa and his elves welcome passengers for a visit. Once inside the workshop, kids can have their photo taken with Saint Nick and enjoy hot chocolate, cookies and even take on a craft project. Last Saturday, as the snow gently fell, one of our co-workers and her family, including her 2-year-old son enjoyed this fun-filled experience. You’ll want to make sure to add this adventure to your holiday to-do list next year.
