What’s Happening At The Lake …

It has been a busy week for everyone, but it’s important to take time to enjoy the holiday season. Our editor did just that, with a visit to Baker House in downtown Lake Geneva. The seasonal decorations were magnificent, as always. Stop by on any Sunday morning for their weekly champagne brunch.

As 2016 draws to a close, we look forward to all of the exciting things happening in 2017. There are many great ways to celebrate the New Year this weekend; below are just a few of our favorite ways.

Festive décor at the Baker House

This weekend, December 31-January 1

New Year’s Eve Celebration: Enjoy a hands-on cooking classes that focuses on the world’s cuisine at Lake Geneva School of Cooking, in Lake Geneva. To learn more about this special cooking class, click here.

Snow Golf: There’s no such thing as an off season for golf in Wisconsin. Visit Hawk’s View Golf Club on Sunday for a 4-person scramble on our 3 hole custom course (you play it 3 times). Irons and Tennis Balls are provided and included. Learn more here.

New Year’s Day Brunch: Start 2017 off with New Year’s Day Brunch at The Abbey Resort. Brunch runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; reservations are recommended. For details and pricing, click here.
