It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Even though our mild December has been snow free, holiday traditions continue at the lake! Santa and his reindeer greeted wide-eyed children in front of Starbucks in downtown Lake Geneva over the weekend. Suze, the Newfoundland was on hand at Country Side Trees near Walworth to provide a bit of customer service. This lovable working dog didn’t need snow and a sled to pull Christmas trees to happy customers’ cars. Another holiday tradition that occurred last Saturday was Freeze for Life, the annual fundraiser for college scholarships and pancreatic cancer research, held at Gage Marine in Williams Bay. Dozens of participants braved the cold waters of Geneva Lake to water ski or take a tubing ride.
