Last weekend was certainly a toss-up weather-wise in the Geneva Lakes area. Saturday felt like a cold November day and it meant many of us went in search of things to do inside. Luckily for us, the Geneva Lakes Museum was hosting its International Museum Day celebration. The free event offered a great chance to reacquaint ourselves with this wonderful community resource. On Saturday evening, some of our staff took in the Lakeland Players’ performance of 42nd Street at the Walworth County Performing Arts Center in Elkhorn. The Tony Award winning musical will also be performed this weekend if you’re looking for a fun evening of entertainment. Last Sunday, the weather finally warmed up, so it was off in search of treasures and bargains at the first flea market of the season at the Walworth County Fairgrounds.
