The dog days of summer are upon us and that means it’s blueberry picking time! A member of our staff, along with her son, visited Blue Clay Berry Farm near Delavan last week, where the berries were plentiful and their hard work yielded three pounds of this summertime favorite. Elkhorn’s first annual Rib Fest, held last Friday through Sunday, was a fun way to taste mouth-watering barbecue plus enjoy great entertainment. For those looking for a little serenity on Saturday morning, the place to be was Al’s Auto Body & Arboretum near Walworth. The amazing yoga class among hundreds of hosta plants left everyone relaxed and rejuvenated.
