What’s Happening At The Lake …

It was another great weekend in the Geneva Lakes area as we celebrated the 4th of July. Geneva National hosted their annual “red, white & barbecue” on Sunday with fun for the whole family. Throughout the Geneva Lakes area, the fireworks were blasting all weekend, lighting up the sky with their patriotic displays. One of our local photographer friends captured an especially beautiful array (see below). As July is officially under way, we are heading into the “dog days of summer.” Even our furry friends love being at the lake!

This weekend, July 9-10

Lake Geneva Garden Walk: On Saturday, tour Private Gardens in the beautiful Lake Geneva area. The Master Gardeners of Walworth County, by special arrangement, are hosting a self-guided tour of local gardens. The tour begins at Horticultural Hall. Learn more here.

Cars Time Forgot Show: Visit Lake Lawn Resort this Sunday for the 13th annual Cars Time Forgot classic car show. View over 800 show cars, including one of the few remaining Batmobiles. Click here for details.

Movies on the Beach: Head to Fontana beach Saturday night for a movie under the stars. Admission is just $1, and the movie starts at 8:30 pm. This week, they are showing JAWS. For event details click here.
