What’s Happening At The Lake …

The last week of August is always a time of transition at the lake. Downtown shops are a little less busy, the beach is not as crowded, fewer people are waiting in line at restaurants, and traffic on bike trails is almost non-existent. One of our staff members, an avid bicyclist, enjoyed a ride with her kids on the White River Trail before her family’s back-to-school routines begin next week. Area high school football programs have already transitioned to their fall schedules. Last Friday night, the Big Foot Chiefs lost a heartbreaker to the East Troy Trojans by a score of 48-43. As the fall begins, the doors of Lake Geneva’s newest restaurant opened. Some of our staff dropped by Qdoba Mexican Grill for a lunchtime visit and to welcome them to the city.
