Labor Day weekend has come and gone, but what a weekend is was. The weather at the lake was absolutely perfect for so many activities. Dining alfresco overlooking The Abbey Harbor was a great way to ease into the long weekend. Those wanting to soak up the last bit of sunshine that day were out on personal watercraft and boats. The 167th Walworth County Fair finished up its six-day run on Labor Day, and as usual, it was a great occasion for families and friends to take in agricultural exhibits, the carnival midway, a variety of foods as well as grandstand entertainment. On Tuesday it was back-to-school time for many local school districts. One of our designers had mixed emotions as her twins headed off to 4-year-old kindergarten. Good luck boys!
